Pay: $52,000 - $54,000 DOE

The Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in leading daily dispensary operations and shaping Mint Cannabis’s store culture. This individual is responsible for motivating, mentoring, and managing a team of 25–30 team members while ensuring compliance, customer satisfaction, and high operational standards. The role requires strong leadership, a passion for cannabis education, and a commitment to creating a welcoming and compliant environment.

• Provide daily leadership and operational direction for 25–30 store team members.
• Train, mentor, and inspire staff while fostering a positive team culture.
• Handle all retail operations, including product orders, inventory, customer service, and cash handling.
• Execute and enforce all Missouri compliance protocols.
• Coordinate daily sales reporting, financial performance, and KPI tracking.
• Handle escalated customer issues and uphold customer service excellence.
• Partner with HR to support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and phase progression.
• Create team schedules, approve time‑off requests, and manage shift coverage.
• Manage inventory responsibilities.
• Support physical store security, including opening/closing procedures and safe/code management.
• Lead daily and monthly team meetings to review store goals and progress.
• Provide ongoing feedback to support employee evaluations and performance reviews.
• Willing to support other store roles as needed.
• Have a strong understanding of Dutchie 0.02 and running operational reports.

• Directly supervise team members across all departments of the retail store.
• Provide input on performance evaluations, phase progression, and scheduling.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card in accordance with Missouri state regulations.
• 1+ year of experience in a retail management or people leadership role is required.
• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• 1+ year of Cannabis retail experience is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage high-volume customer interactions.
• Strong decision‑making, conflict resolution, and time‑management skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on process and operational efficiency.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a dynamic retail environment.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and a 7‑day retail schedule if needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No specific certifications required; management training or coursework preferred.
