** Job Description
**** We are looking for candidates that are interesting in working overnights.
**** Candidates must have open availability overnights Monday-Sunday and should be willing to work 32-36 hours per week.*
* ** DUTIES
* ** Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
* Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
* Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods., and Grocery Departments.
* Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
* Read and understand shelf tags
* Sort damaged product for credit
* Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler
* Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
* Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer
* Maintain company productivity standards
* Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management
** TRAINING
* ** Training will be provided at store level.
** PHYSICAL DEMANDS
*** Bending* Stooping
* Able to stock 50 cases per hour
* Able to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees)
* Able to push loaded two wheeler (average 100-120 pounds)
* Able to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds)
* Able to pull loaded stock truck
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
* Working on feet entire shift (4-8hours)
** Additional Requirements – Internal Candidates:
*** Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
* Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
* Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
