Job Description: As a Security Officer in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industriesundefined, including education. You will undertake routine patrols and help maintain a visible presence throughout an educational location. Your role includes providing exceptional customer service, supporting a welcoming atmosphere, and upholding Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

• Provide customer ire with security-related procedures and site‑specific policies.
• Respond calmly and problem‑solving manner to incidents and critical situations, supporting a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around campus to deter unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report security‑related incidents, hazards, or unusual situations.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying identification as needed.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency drills and/or real emergencies by following established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to the campus community.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Six months or more of armed security‑related, law‑enforcement, or military experience (suitable for armed roles).
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• State, county, or city issued security license preferred.
• Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are()subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
