Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site Installation Technician role based in the Greater St. Louis area. The Installation Technician is responsible for installing new gutter systems, downspouts, and related components on residential and commercial buildings. Day‑to‑day tasks include measuring and cutting materials, assembling and securing gutters, inspecting existing systems, performing repairs, and cleaning gutter systems to ensure proper water flow. The role involves working at heights with ladders and equipment, following safety procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
The Installation Technician will also interact with customers on‑site, provide basic explanations of work performed, and support the crew in meeting project timelines and quality standards.
- Ability to perform hands‑on installation, repair, and maintenance tasks using hand and power tools safely and accurately.
- Comfort working at heights, on ladders, and in various outdoor weather conditions while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Basic measurement, math, and problem‑solving skills to assess gutter issues and determine effective solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality, with the ability to follow work orders, instructions, and company procedures.
- Clear, respectful communication skills for interacting with team members and customers on job sites.
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work full‑time schedules and support project deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation to job sites in the Greater St. Louis area.
- Previous experience in construction, roofing, gutters, or a related trade is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and participate in training is essential.
