Setup Technician

Bear Staffing is seeking a skilled Setup Technician with experience in construction and carpentry to assist with the setup and installation of modular buildings and containers at our client's Indianapolis branch. This role requires hands-on technical ability, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety.

Perform installation and removal of skirting

Assemble and install furniture

Anchor, block, and level units; complete interior and exterior seaming

Perform cleaning and upkeep of modular buildings

Install stairs, canopies, and ramps

Knock down buildings, including building shipping walls, securing exterior walls, separating units, disconnecting utilities, and preparing structures for transport

Ensure site cleanup, including removal of blocks, steps, anchors, ramps, ABS pads, and steel piers

Maintain a safe work environment and follow company safety policies

Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and team members

Strong focus on safety practices and compliance

Carpentry skills and experience in general construction trades

Ability to pass background and drug screening

Must be okay with traveling overnight

Valid driver's license with a clean MVR
