Remodeling Carpenter

Job Description

Job Description: Kingdom Builders is looking to hire a seasoned and highly-experienced remodeling carpenter. Our ideal candidate will have a base knowledge of all aspects of residential construction as well as broad experience using industry standards, construction tools, and installing the latest construction materials. Candidate must have the ability to manage day-to-day customer expectations, keep a safe and clean job site, and execute a wide variety of home remodeling tasks.

The remodeling professional will be responsible for coordinating and completing the work of a job according to the scope and schedule

Essential Remodeling

Skills:

• Residential framing (decks, basements finish, interior partitions, load-bearing beams, and porch roofs)
• Painting
• Tile install in showers, floors, wainscot, and back splashes
• Cabinetry installation
• Trim carpentry (crown molding, cabinetry trim, baseboards, casings, wainscoting, etc.)
• Window and Door installation
• Electrical (experience running residential wiring, fixture and appliance installation, general understanding of electrical code and best practices)
• Plumbing (experience running water, drain, and vent piping, tub/shower installation and hookups, shower valve installation and re-location, and general understanding of plumbing code and best practices)
• HVAC (experience running supply and return duct piping, venting oven and bathroom exhaust fans, and general understanding of HVAC code and best practices)
• Drywall (hanging and finishing)
• Comfortable communicating expectations with clients and talking through project progress and unforeseen items as they arise
