We’re currently seeking a Foster Care Case Manager who is compassionate, organized, and driven by purpose to join our dedicated team.
What You’ll DoAs a Foster Care Case Manager, you’ll support children in state custody and the families caring for them, helping move each child toward permanency, safety, and well-being. In this role, you will:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 14-20 children
- Conduct regular visits with children, parents, and foster families
- Coordinate family and sibling visitation
- Facilitate Family Support Team (FST) meetings
- Partner with courts, schools, therapists, and child welfare professionals
- Attend court hearings and provide case updates
- Connect families to community and support resources
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Transport children to appointments when needed
- Participate in limited on-call rotations (after-hours support is compensated)
Travel Requirements:
- Regular in-state travel (Kansas City, Columbia, Springfield, Cape Girardeau, etc.)
We’re looking for someone who leads with empathy, stays organized under pressure, and communicates effectively with families and professionals.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related human services field
- Experience working with children and families
- Valid Class E Driver’s License, Current Vehicle Insurance and Vehicle
- CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
