The Boeing Company is seeking an Application Software Engineer (Associate or Experienced) to join the Phantom Works Weapons team in St. Charles, MO. This team supports future weapons programs, including the Next Generation Cruise Missile program, and works on interdisciplinary challenges that require systems thinking and technical creativity. The position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access.

Position Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software throughout the end‑to‑end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial software design.
- Develop interface definitions.
- Perform unit and integration testing.
- Participate in peer reviews.
- Support software system integration and testing.
- Create software documentation.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which U.S. citizenship is required.
- 1+ year of experience in C++, Python, and C#.
- 1+ year of experience with Linux development.
- 1+ year of experience with Git or a similar version control system.
- 1+ year of experience in software architecture development and open architectures.
- 1+ year of experience with network architectures and software applications that communicate through TCP/UDP based networks.
- 3 or more years of related work experience or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Associate Level: Bachelor of Science in engineering or related field and 2+ years of related work experience, or Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of directly related work experience.
- Experienced Level: Bachelor of Science in engineering or related field and 5+ years of related work experience, or Bachelor’s Degree and 9+ years of directly related work experience.
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
- Knowledge of host environments, including processors, operating systems, and networks; ability to build, integrate, and troubleshoot software components.
Summary Pay Range for Associate Level: $99,450 – $134,550. Summary Pay Range for Experienced Level: $126,650 – $171,350. Potential signing bonus for eligible/qualified external candidates.
