Reporting to a Software Development Manager:
Work in an Agile environment with input on project selection and distribution of work in the team.
Work the full software development life cycle from discussing business cases with key stakeholders to design, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Work to solve not just short-term problems but design software to make our business successful for the long-term. In doing so, you’ll be working in a large custom code base that provides a clear competitive advantage for our business. The codebase includes a patented managed print service offering recognized as best-in-class in our industry.
Use Git Hub Copilot and other development tools to accelerate design, implementation, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and code review.
Flexibility in location. Work remote, in the office, or anywhere in between!
The technical development environment consists of:
Application Development- C#, , .NET CORE, Blazor
- Windows applications and services
- Web and mobile applications
- Android (.NET MAUI) mobile application for warehouse work
- Microsoft SQL Server
- REST APIs, web services, webhooks, EDI, and XML
- Integration with a state-of-the‑art Ocado robotic order picking system
- Azure Dev Ops, Visual Studio, SSMS, Red Gate
- Git Hub Copilot for AI-assisted development
- AI-assisted code review and standards validation
- Repository-specific coding instructions and development standards
