Delivery Driver

Transport materials to customers.

• Safely drive truck or van to transport materials within the specified area; verify loads against shipping papers; obtain signed receipts for material delivered.
• Scan each delivery into the system before leaving the warehouse; maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Determine the best route for effective delivery of products that satisfy customers' expectations of timely delivery; record delivery information; inspect truck equipment and supplies as required, and report any deficiencies to ensure safe operation.
• Perform physical tasks necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse, as well as load and unload trucks.
• Operate warehouse equipment and material in the manner consistent with intended purpose and manufacturer’s instructions; follow all Company safety procedures.
• May perform Material Handler responsibilities when not engaged in primary duties.
• Promote and maintain good customer relations; may promote new sales as opportunities arise.
• Communicate customer feedback to Company management, including complaints, requests, returns, performance, competitive information, and potential opportunities.

• High school diploma or GED.

Monday - Friday, 5:30 am – 2:00 pm or depending on business needs.

The expected pay rate for this position starts at $18.00 per hour, depending on experience.

• Steel-toed boots required.
• CDL not required, but must pass DOT medical exam.
