Job Requirements and DutiesMust be 18 years or older.
General Responsibilities for Store Team Members- Have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record; access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
- Possess navigational skills to read maps, locate addresses in the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Orientation and on‑the‑job training provided.
Communication Skills- Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person.
- Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly.
- Make correct monetary change.
- Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Coordinate motor skills to make precise movements with speed.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outdoor tasks.
- In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F to over 90°F.
- Sudden temperature changes indoors and outdoors.
- Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, fumes.
- Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
- Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Talking and hearing on the phone.
- Near and mid‑range vision for in‑store tasks.
- Depth perception.
- Recognize hot and cold surfaces.
The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, operate under stress, meet quality standards, interact with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions.
Physical RequirementsStanding, walking, and sitting tasks are common. Lifting crew‑truck deliveries of up to 50 pounds; carrying tasks include cans (~3 lb), sauce (~30 lb), pizza dough (~12 lb per tray).
DrivingSpecific Duties
- Deliver product from car to customer door.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
- Navigational skills to locate addresses and navigate adverse terrain.
- Ability to carry product while walking or climbing stairs.
- Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing.
- Deliver pizzas multiple times per shift from store to customer.
- Travel between store and vehicle, then to customer.
- Navigate five or more flights of stairs during delivery.
- Varying weather when delivering, driving, and couponing.
- Far vision and night vision for driving.
