Hire Level is looking for a Local Route Driver in St. Charles, Mo.

Delivery Driver. Job Type: Contract to Hire.

Location:

St. Charles. Pay: $/hour. Driver Incentive Program (eligible after 90 days)- chance to earn $100 extra per week. Similar Positions:

• Delivery & Customer Service Deliver products to customers within designated delivery windows while ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
• Provide excellent customer service during each delivery interaction.
• Ensure proper handling of goods to maintain product quality and safety.
• Safety & Compliance Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Follow company standards related to food safety, sanitation, allergen control, and food defense protocols.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Vehicle & Equipment Management Conduct routine inspections to ensure vehicles are in safe working conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness of delivery trucks and equipment.
• Return all pallets, milk crates, and equipment after deliveries.
• Reporting & Accountability Promptly report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues to management.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
• Support operational efficiency by following assigned routes and schedules.

• Valid CDL (Required)
• Air Brakes endorsement (Required)
• Previous delivery or driving experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and route navigation.
• Ability to meet delivery timelines and manage workload independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift, load and unload product as needed.
• Capable or working in a physically active role that involves regular driving, loading and unloading.
• Ability to work assigned scheduled (Monday-Friday or flexible options)
• Commitment to safety, reliability, and maintaining company standards.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
