IAM Engineer

Seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management Engineer responsible for managing global identity services with expertise in Privileged Access Management, Active Directory, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect and related technologies.

• Own AD/AAD Identity and access delivery, interfacing with delivery partners (Alcor, WWT, etc.) to ensure fit-for-purpose delivery within the IAM space.
• Ensure documentation and change requests are accurate, maintained, and followed through in accordance with SoX requirements.
• Coordinate and facilitate Quality Assurance (Audit) escalation issues with delivery partners, Chief IAM Architect, and QA/GRC in Elanco.
• Serve on various forums as an SME to assist in analysis projects and programs, ensuring technological soundness, no‑harm, and delivery of expected outcomes.
• Establish strong partnerships across the technical community, Information Security, and application owners to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Deep dive key initiatives to help overcome major incidents, complex problems and/or realize opportunities.
• Embed security, privacy, data protection, and quality assurance across IT.
• Work with Elanco operational teams and Chief architects to understand current and future IAM requirements.
• Collaborate with L1‑3 support teams to manage IAM/Identity operations (e.g., get credentials, review systems, act on access control in Azure PIM).
• Continuously build awareness of emerging identity technology directions.
• Engage in the community internally and externally across multiple channels to share, educate, and inspire.

• Experience in technology project leadership, managing and advancing complex, global environments and designing and delivering enterprise technology solutions.
• Minimum 2 years of experience across Identity, including Privileged Access Management, Active Directory, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access and Entra .
• Experience working with public cloud architectures (Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Experience executing large‑scale, transformative strategic plans.
• Exceptional facilitation and organizational skills, effectively conveying complex ideas across all levels of IT and third parties to drive alignment and clear strategic outcomes.
