Essential Skills &Qualifications:
- Current and active Michigan SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy settings
- Expertise assessing and supporting a broad range of speech and language disorders in students K-12
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with staff, students, and families
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services to students in K-12
- Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and families to support academic achievement and social development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and intervention planning
- Utilize evidence-based approaches to help students overcome barriers to communication in a school setting
