Reliability Engineer II

Cargill is seeking a Reliability Engineer II to enhance the performance and uptime of manufacturing assets in a fast-paced production environment. In this role, you will lead reliability initiatives, conduct root cause analysis, and develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to support safe, efficient, and sustainable operations. Partnering closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams, you will use data-driven insights to improve equipment performance, reduce unplanned downtime, and support capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Improve reliability of manufacturing equipment and systems to support safe, continuous operations
• Conduct root cause analysis on failures and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Analyze reliability data and KPIs to identify trends and drive performance improvements
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams on reliability strategies
• Support capital projects with reliability input on equipment selection and design
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all reliability activities
• Document standards, procedures, and asset care plans and provide technical guidance to plant teams
