As a PreK Lead Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in creating a positive and impactful learning experience for our preschoolers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and Implementing Curriculum
  :
  Research, plan, and execute age‑appropriate lesson plans and activities that align with Christian educational principles.
• Leading by Example
  :
  Provide guidance, leadership, and direction for children and Teacher Assistants, maintaining SUTQ standards and fostering a high‑moral environment.
• Encouraging Growth
  :
  Plan activities that support children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual development, including prayer time, storytelling, and literacy exploration.
• Ensuring Safety and Cleanliness
  :
  Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organized classroom environment.
• Building Relationships
  :
  Communicate effectively with parents through daily reports and conferences, collaborating to meet each child’s developmental needs.
• Administrative Tasks
  :
  Keep accurate records, including evaluations, attendance charts, and incident reports, while adhering to licensing standards and administrative codes.
• Professional Development
  :
  Participate in in‑service trainings and center activities, such as open houses and parent‑teacher conferences.
• Fostering a Positive Environment
  :
  Actively engage with children, provide comfort and guidance, and create a nurturing atmosphere where they can thrive.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of experience, skills, and passion for early childhood education. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• At least 1 year of experience working with preschoolers in a daycare or similar setting.
• A Child Development Associate (CDA) certification or equivalent.
• A thorough understanding of preschool development, health, and safety best practices.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for nurturing young learners.
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Physical ability to actively engage with children throughout the day.
