Before and After School Counselor

Kinder Care is seeking a Before and After School Counselor at Narcoossee Elementary School to support school-age children in a safe, engaging environment. You will lead group activities, assist with homework, and promote social-emotional development before and after the regular school day. Responsibilities include supervising students, implementing age-appropriate enrichment, maintaining classroom routines, and communicating regularly with families and school staff. You will model positive behavior, uphold safety and licensing standards, and contribute to an inclusive, nurturing culture that supports each child's growth and curiosity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children before and after school to ensure safety and wellbeing
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities and enrichment projects
• Support homework and academic practice in a structured setting
• Promote positive behavior, social skills, and emotional development
• Maintain organized, engaging program spaces and materials
• Communicate regularly with families and school staff about children's progress
• Follow all safety, health, and state licensing regulations
• Document attendance, incidents, and daily activities as required
• Support inclusion and respect for diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Collaborate with team members to improve program quality
