Accounts Receivable Specialist- St. Cloud, MN

Spee Dee Delivery is a family owned and operated company that was started in 1978 by Donald and Sylvia Weeres. Our core business is in standard, next-day, ground delivery. The corporate headquarters and main sort facility is located in St. Cloud, MN. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and over the years have expanded throughout the Midwest.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will receive and invoice payments for services rendered.

• Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
• $18.00-$20.00, per hour, based on experience

• Prepare and send out daily, weekly, biweekly, and monthly cycle counts
• Record, store, and analyze information using accounting software
• Receive payments and post amount paid to customer accounts
• Debit, credit, and total customer accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software
• Research and answer inquiries or disputes about accounts for customers
• Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts
• Submit invoice data in shipper/third party payer required formats
• Reconcile and process credit card transactions
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Clerical or administrative experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Advanced computer and keyboarding skills
• Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred
• 1+ year of related experience preferred

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and answering the phone
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
