Corporate Accounting Analyst
Pay range: $75,000 – $82,000 annually, final compensation determined by skills, experience, and role requirements.

Qualifications- A post‑secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- 4+ years progressive experience in accounting
- Professional designation in accounting (or working toward one) is an asset
- Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience working with MS Dynamics and AS400 is an asset
- Working knowledge of IFRS
- Accounting experience in construction or a related industry preferred
- Strong understanding of inter‑company accounting and reconciliations
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
- Ability to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail, positive attitude, and tact
- Ability to work well independently or as a team player
- Ability to handle confidential issues professionally
- Knowledge of German is an asset
The General Accountant / Analyst is responsible for general accounting functions, including processing journal entries, inter‑company transactions, GL account reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, financial reporting, and other day‑to‑day accounting and finance operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provides project analysis, data, and cost reports to management, including support for month‑end reconciliations.
- Supports project supervisors and field staff in managing projects, crew, and quality control processes.
- Tracks and reports on productivity, costs, and project progress, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Performs quantity take‑offs, coordinates with designers, engineers, vendors, and suppliers, and integrates plans and schedules.
- Liaises with stakeholders to inform them of project schedules and coordinates the preparation and submission of as‑built drawings.
- Manages administrative documentation, maintains files and correspondence on active and completed projects, and submits invoicing.
- Communicates with customer technical support and provides technical support to field staff.
- Supports collection of organization charts, time schedules, manpower histograms, equipment lists, project risk assessments, etc. during preparation.
- Supports developing work‑breakdown schedules to distribute packages and tasks to project staff and subcontractors.
- Follows all quality management, health, safety and environmental procedures and reports non‑compliances immediately.
- Liaises with the client for submission, RFIs, document upload or download, extensions of time or variations.
- Checks reports, attends meetings, motivates project teams, and identifies project risks.
