Position Summary/Objective

As a Shred Operations Support Specialist, you will provide administrative support to the Shred team, including tracking, receiving, and inventory of product. You will provide quality services and solutions to internal and external clients while maintaining high client satisfaction.

Essential Functions
  • Manage Shred email inbox, reply or forward messages to appropriate team member.
  • Manage Shred incoming calls, assist with any service inquiries, etc.
  • Manage all recycling weight tickets.
  • Assist with routing and dispatch duties, including but not limited to purge/routine work order entry and route optimization.
  • Assist with work order rescheduling/cancellation customer notification.
  • Assist with re-new/up-date routine contracts.
  • Assist with billing errors and voids.
  • Act in accordance with Marco policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and Experience

High school diploma and two years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Skills
  • Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications, Outlook, and company specific programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external clients.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and to operate with changing priorities.
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; works well in group problem solving situations.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure quality.
  • Highly organized, ability to maintain accurate and detailed reports.
  • Functions collaboratively as part of a client-oriented team.
  • Self-starter with ability to perform with little or no supervision.
