Network Development Manager

The Network Development Manager plays a key role in driving business performance by partnering cross-functionally to deliver actionable insights and strategic improvements. This position collaborates closely with leadership and internal teams to assess business impact, identify opportunities for operational efficiency, and recommend data-driven solutions that enhance overall performance. In this role, you will engage with stakeholders to uncover process gaps and inefficiencies, leveraging analytics to inform smarter decision‑making.

You will design and develop intuitive reporting dashboards that provide clear visibility into key performance indicators and business trends. The ideal candidate is both analytical and strategic able to translate complex data into meaningful insights and practical recommendations. By fostering strong partnerships across the organization, the Network Development Manager ensures alignment on priorities and delivers innovative, scalable solutions that support long‑term growth and operational excellence.

• Analyze financial and operational data to develop competitive pricing strategies, evaluate lane profitability, and recommend performance improvements.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Pricing teams to align network development initiatives with business goals.
• Identify and drive growth opportunities by monitoring lane density, market trends, and high-demand lanes to expand network reach.
• Develop and refine pricing models, tools, and technology to optimize rates, support negotiations, and prevent low-margin business.
• Provide strategic insights through market research, industry trend analysis, and stakeholder engagement to influence long-term business decisions.

• 35+ years of experience in transportation/logistics and data analysis, with a solid understanding of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities, with proven experience interpreting complex data to drive insights and recommendations.
• Demonstrated expertise in network development, optimization, and pricing strategy within a logistics or supply chain environment.
• Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and research skills, paired with a results-oriented mindset.
• Effective collaborator with strong interpersonal skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and aligning with organizational values.

• The position has a total cash compensation range of $70,000.00 to $ which includes the position-specific, performance-based incentive; base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $90,000 annually. Base salary offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work.
