Patterson Companies is looking for a
** Financial Analyst
** to provide customer facing reporting and business analysis for our Strategic Accounts Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong excel background, attention to detail and a proven track record for delivering reporting and analysis within a financial environment.
** Major Duties
*** Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving work environment
* Navigate complex systems and data independently with minimal training
* Produce sales and operational reports for internal stakeholders and external customers
* Gather, analyze, and develop reports using SAP, Micro Strategy, and business intelligence tools
* Interpret operating metrics and connect financial performance to business strategy
* Translate data into clear, actionable insights to support decision-making
* Serve as the primary contact for ad hoc reporting requests
* Track and calculate customer rebates on a quarterly and annual basis
* Prepare financial reporting packages for customer business reviews
* Document reporting processes to ensure consistency and accuracy
* Perform additional duties as assigned
** Job Qualifications
*** BA/BS in Business or related field
* 2+ years of work experience in related field or business
* Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Applications, specifically advanced Excel skills, Access, Word, and Power Point
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Ability to develop reports in multiple environments (i.e., SAP, Micro Strategy, Business Intelligence tools)
* Proven ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
* Understanding of business process and experience in financial reporting and analysis
* Willingness to learn and share knowledge with the rest of the team
* Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems in complex systems with little supervision
* Excellent documentation and communication skills
* Adapts to changing priorities and manages deadlines#LI-NR1
