Construction Representative; Part-Time

Position Overview

Part‑time Construction Representative to assist local Construction Services team.

Location:

St Cloud, MN.

• Monitor construction activities on transportation, civil, and municipal infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.
• Document daily field and inspection activities, including material sampling, testing, and quantity measurements.
• Assist with preconstruction meetings, progress updates, conflict resolution sessions and negotiation of construction change orders.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and SEH team members.
• Assist in proposal development, project budget and schedule estimation, and constructability reviews.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in the construction field.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and navigate rough terrain on construction sites.
• Willingness to travel for team meetings, client consultations, and on‑site observations.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

• Possession of applicable DOT technical certifications or ability to obtain them within six (6) months.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD or Micro Station.
• Familiarity with Blue Beam software.

• Position requires an MVR records check confirming a valid driver’s license and a driving record meeting SEH’s Driving Program requirements.
• Base compensation is expected to be between $35,000 and $45,000 based on skill set and experience.
• Eligible for the standard benefits package available to SEH employee‑owners.
• Unable to hire employees residing in AK, AR, CA, CT, DE, HI, KY, MA, RI, VT, and PR.
• Relocation must be indicated in application.
• Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
