This Opportunity- Monitor construction activities on transportation, civil, and municipal infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.
- Document daily field and inspection activities, including material sampling, testing, and quantity measurements.
- Assist with pre‑construction meetings, progress updates, and conflict resolution sessions; prepare and negotiate construction change orders.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and SEH team members.
- May assist in development of proposals, estimating project budgets and schedules and completing constructability reviews.
- This opportunity is open to candidates residing in St Cloud, MN.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in the construction field.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and navigate rough terrain on construction sites.
- Willingness to travel for team meetings, client consultations, and on‑site observations.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle records as required by SEH’s Driving Program.
- Possession of applicable DOT technical certifications or ability to obtain them within six (6) months.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with AutoCAD or Micro Station.
- Familiarity with Blue Beam software.
Base compensation will be in the range of $35 to $45 per hour based on skill set and experience. Benefits include paid family leave, flexible holidays, work/life balance arrangements, and opportunities for continued education and technical training.
