Overview-Thispositionisbasedin Minneapolis,MN
Responsibleformanagingdailypreventiveandcorrective Quality Controlactivitieswithafocuson Federal /DODconstructionprojects.
Mustbeabletoconduct Quality Control Meetings ,perform inspections,reviewsubmittals,andensuretestingisperformedinaccordancewithindustrystandards,contractspecificationsandapplicablecodes.
Prepare all Quality Controlcertificationsanddocumentationrequired .
- Implement the Construction Quality Control Programatassignedjobsites .
- Performpreparatoryandinitialphasemeetings/inspections.
- Prepareandsubmit Quality Control Daily Reports .
- Trackandprovideprojectsubmittalstothe Government.
Maintainthesubmittalregister. - Maintain/buildcollaborativeworkingrelationshipswithowners,architects,consultants,subcontractors,vendorsandinternal

Teammemberstoensuretheprojectspecificplandeliversafullycompliantproject. - Musthaveacomprehensiveworkingknowledgeandunderstandingofthecontractdocuments.
- MustimplementQCprocedures,includingdocumentcontrol,submission management,creationandtrackingof
Requests For Information (RFIs),materialsamplesandmaintainjob-siteredlines. - MaintaintheQCTesting
Loganddeficiencylog. - Oversightandmanagementofprojectclose-out.
Minimumoffiveyearsof Federal/DODconstructionexperience.
Relevantexperiencemayincludenewbuildingconstruction,design-build,building renovations,civilwork,etc.
- Completionofthe“Construction Quality management”(CQM) for Contractor'scourse.
- Knowledgeofconstruction(i.e.,prints,plans procedures,schedulingandtesting).
- Musthavestrongcomputerskillsandfamiliaritywith Microsoft Office Suite .
- Mustbeabletomanageprojectsof2to10millioninsize.
- Mustbeabletotravel.
- Mustbeabletoobtainaccesstoa Federal Installation .
- Proficient in Resident Management System (RMS)
