T&D EPC Senior Project Manager

A leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor is seeking experienced Construction Managers, Senior Project Managers, and Program Managers to support the continued growth of its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business in the Minneapolis area.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established organization delivering complex transmission lines, substations, and grid modernization projects for major utility clients across the Midwest. You'll play a key role in managing critical infrastructure projects from planning through execution while working alongside industry-leading engineering and construction professionals.

• Lead the successful delivery of transmission, distribution, and substation construction projects.
• Manage projects throughout the full lifecycle, from pre-construction planning through commissioning and closeout.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, forecasts, procurement, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate engineering, construction, environmental, and commissioning teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with utility clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
• Support contract administration, change management, and commercial negotiations.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Depending on experience, oversee multiple concurrent projects or large-scale capital programs.

• Minimum 4 years' experience delivering Transmission & Distribution projects within an EPC contractor environment.
• Experience managing utility transmission, substation, or distribution construction projects.
• Strong understanding of project controls, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and risk management.
• Experience working directly with utility owners and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead field operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred but not essential.
