Job Overview
Established General Contractor seeks Experienced Construction Manager. The role will evolve into GM of Fargo Operations.
Our client is a full‑service general contractor specializing in commercial, industrial, and corporate interiors projects throughout the region. Known for commitment to quality, transparency, and client satisfaction, the company builds exceptional spaces through collaboration and precise execution. The team manages projects from concept to completion, combining technical expertise with hands‑on leadership to ensure every build meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily on‑site project activities to ensure construction is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between field teams, subcontractors, project managers, and clients.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, materials, and inspections to maintain project flow.
- Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Identify and resolve field issues quickly to minimize delays or cost impacts.
- Conduct regular site meetings and maintain accurate daily reports and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with the project management team to manage change orders, budgets, and timelines.
- Ensure site safety standards are upheld and lead by example to promote a strong safety culture.
- 5–25 years of experience managing commercial construction projects, focusing on interior buildouts, renovations, or ground‑up work.
- Proven track record of successfully managing field operations from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and site coordination.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with project management and construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
- OSHA 30‑hour certification or equivalent safety training preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent field experience).
Competitive pay of $105,000 – $165,000 per year, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth within a well‑respected construction organization.
