About this positionResults Contracting is a roofing and exterior contractor hiring for a Construction Site Supervisor (Midwest). Supervisors oversee exterior construction projects—including roofing, siding, and gutters—from start to finish, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, building‑code compliant, and that all materials are installed per manufacturer instructions. This role involves pre‑build inspections, managing and coordinating on‑site activities, supervising subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and completing post‑construction inspections and material pick‑up and returns.
The position requires an out‑of‑town travel schedule of 4–5 weekday nights and home on weekends. Results Contracting operates 11 offices serving 8 Midwest states.
- Supervising Construction
Activities:
Monitor the progress of construction work, ensuring it aligns with project specifications. - Ensuring Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety regulations, conduct site inspections, and promote a safe working environment.
- Managing Personnel: Supervise construction workers and subcontractors, assign tasks, and evaluate performance.
- Coordinating Resources: Manage materials, equipment, and other resources to support the project's progress.
- Maintaining Quality Control: Ensure quality of work meets established standards and address any defects or issues.
- Communication and Reporting: Communicate with production managers and directors, providing regular updates on project status; maintain strong customer communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the construction process.
Skills and Qualifications
- Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques. Experience with roofing, siding, gutters, and windows preferred.
- Supervisory
Experience:
Prior supervisory or management role within the construction industry; leadership skills to effectively lead and motivate a team. - Communication
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Problem‑Solving
Skills:
Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively. - Safety Knowledge: In‑depth understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices (OSHA training provided).
- Organizational
Skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. - Technical
Skills:
Familiarity with basic computer skills. - Education: Degree in construction management or related field preferred; on‑the‑job experience acceptable.

Typically Monday‑Friday, 7 AM‑5 PM weekly. Due to the nature of construction work, overtime may be required during busy seasons.
Requirements- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Physical ability to lift heavy shingle bundles and other construction materials in and out of a truck.
- Ability to safely climb ladders and inspect roofs.
- Must be honest, ethical, and have a positive attitude.
