Job Description & How to Apply Below
* The Coborn's, Inc. Graphic Design Internship will run from June 1, 2026 through August 7, 2026.
* If you're energized by visual storytelling, creative problem-solving, and bringing brands to life through design, this internship is a great fit. As a Graphic Design Intern, you'll spend ten weeks working alongside our Marketing team, supporting creative work across digital platforms, in-store materials, and guest-facing communications.
You'll gain hands-on design experience, collaborate across teams, and receive mentorship that helps you build confidence and strengthen your creative skillset. By the end of the summer, you'll have real-world project experience and a clearer understanding of how graphic design supports brand strategy and business goals.
Core Department Experience
* Contribute to graphic design work within the Marketing team, including digital assets, print materials, layouts, and visual content.
* Support key campaigns and creative projects that align with Coborn's brand standards and communication goals.
* Participate in day-to-day design workflows to understand how creative work supports the broader business and enhances the guest experience.
Strategic Design Project
* Partner with a small group of interns (2-3) on a cross-functional design-focused project.
* Research design trends, analyze brand needs, and develop creative solutions informed by business objectives and guest insights.
* Present final concepts and project outcomes to the Operating Committee at the conclusion of the internship.
Cross-Department Learning
* Participate in job shadows with leaders across the organization to see how design and marketing connect with operations, merchandising, HR, IT, and more.
* Visit retail and non-retail locations to observe how design and branding come to life in real guest environments.
* Attend cross-functional learning sessions that encourage collaboration and broaden business knowledge.
Development & Learning
* Complete weekly learning activities, including creative exercises, readings, and guided reflections.
* Join group sessions led by the Learning & Development team covering leadership topics, guest speakers, and business insights.
* Build core professional skills through workshops focused on communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and presentation skills.
Mentorship & Support
* Meet weekly with an assigned mentor for feedback, coaching, and career-focused discussions.
* Connect regularly with a department leader to review project progress and learning goals.
* Work closely with the Learning & Development team throughout the summer to support growth and ensure a meaningful internship experience.
