Front Desk - Customer Service Coordinator
St. Cloud, MN
Do you enjoy being around boats, pontoons, and all things water sports? Join a well-established, growing marine dealership representing top brands in the industry. We're looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused customer service professional to be the face of our front desk and support our sales, service, and storage operations.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Must be Available for Rotating Saturdays during Busy Season - 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Pay:
$18-$20/hour based on experience - OT Pay after 40 hours
What You'll Do
- Serve as the front desk point of contact for customers-both in person and over the phone
- Create, manage, and track service repair orders from check-in to completion
- Communicate clearly with customers on repairs, timelines, estimates, and status updates
- Coordinate daily workflow between service technicians, parts department, and sales team
- Assist customers with boat, motor, and accessory sales inquiries, as well as service needs
- Recommend parts, accessories, and maintenance services to enhance the customer experience
- Support boat storage scheduling, check-in/check-out, and customer communication
- Help process warranty claims, service follow-ups, and documentation
- Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming front desk environment
- Contribute to team goals, customer satisfaction, and overall dealership success
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role within service, retail, dealership, or a similar fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills with a confident, professional, and solutions-focused approach
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and customer interactions simultaneously
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to own tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision
- Comfortable using computer systems, service software, and point-of-sale tools in a daily workflow
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, service technicians, and parts departments
- Sales mindset with experience in up-selling services, accessories, or add-ons preferred
- Familiarity with boats, motors, trailers, or mechanical systems strongly preferred (or equivalent industry experience)
- Self-motivated with a team-first attitude and strong sense of accountability
