• Collaborate with Dental Assisting faculty
• Deliver timely, clear instruction and course materials
• Assess student performance and return results promptly
• Align grading with course objectives and college policies
• Use instructional technology effectively
• Maintain a positive, well‑managed learning environment
• Manage time, schedules, and required reporting
• Supervise classroom/lab activities and maintain records
• Assist in the dental clinic as needed

Salary is determined by the number of credits assigned:

• 1–4 credits: paid per credit ($775.00 – $1,650.00 per credit)
• 5 or more credits: salary placed, range $48,601.00 – $74,050.00

  Bachelor degree and graduate of an accredited dental assisting program

  Experience:
  
  Three full‑time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a dental assistant
• Recency:
  One year of this work experience within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field
• Professional:
  Dental Assistant certification by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) and current Dental Assistant License from the Minnesota Board of Dentistry
