TYPE OF POSITION:
Multiple positions depending on student enrollment. Hours may vary based on program needs. First consideration may be given to current staff and/or those familiar with the program.
REPORTS TO:
Building Principals, immediate supervisor.
SUPERVISION:
None.
- Required:
Current licensure in area of need, issued by the Minnesota Department of Education. - Preferred:
Previous related experience.

Essential Duties- Instructional Planning and Preparation:
Demonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy, knowledge of students, select instructional goals, demonstrate knowledge of resources, design coherent instruction, assess student learning. - Classroom Environment:
Create an environment of respect and rapport; establish a culture for learning; manage classroom procedures; manage student behavior; organize physical space. - Instructional Interaction:
Communicate clearly and accurately; use questioning and discussion techniques; engage students in learning; provide feedback; demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness. - Professional Responsibilities:
Reflect on teaching; maintain accurate records; communicate with families; contribute to the school and district; grow and develop professionally; show professionalism. - Other duties as assigned.
