Position Overview
Curriculum Development – Work with SCTCC Customized Training to create online training to prepare sonographers for the ARDMS Pediatric (PS) Sonography credentialing board exam.
Asynchronous Instruction – Provide participants with guidance and education on the principles and techniques of pediatric abdomen ultrasound, helping them build the skills to recognize both normal and abnormal anatomy.
Hands‑on Training – Guide participants through an optional in‑person skills assessment.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver customized training modules for pediatric abdomen ultrasound.
- Assess and mentor student progress; evaluate optional in‑person skills assessments.
- Collaborate with the Customized Training department to align content with industry standards.
- Cover Letter/Letter of Interest that includes current ARDMS registrations.
- Current Resume (include dates of employment and average hours worked per week for each position).
- Vehicle Fleet Safety Program compliance for college business driving (rental or state vehicle).
- Consent to motor vehicle records check.
- Background check may consist of:
- Criminal Background Check
- Employment Record Review (current and former State employees only)
- Employment Reference Check
- Conflict of Interest Review
- Valid U.S. citizenship; not eligible for H‑1B sponsorship.
Must be able to accept work in the U.S. by the day employment begins.
Work Schedule- Flexibly teach a variety of modalities: in‑person on campus, fully online, or hybrid course.
- Schedule determined by SCTCC course schedule; includes potential in‑person sessions.
Yes. Some travel throughout Minnesota may be required.
Salary$35.00 – $60.00 per hour.
