Para educator responsibilities may include:
  • Supporting the implementation of Individualized Educational Plan
  • Academic, behavior/social, and/or adaptive needs
  • Assisting implementation of Behavior Intervention plan
  • Assisting in the health plan, toileting plan, and/or medical delegations depending on students' individualized plan
  • May require Right Response training; depending on program and student needs
  • May require riding the bus with a student
Extended Resource Program:

The Extended Resource program is a service for students who have mild to moderate delays in general intellectual functioning, existing concurrently with deficits in adaptive behavior.
