Engineering Technician - St. Cloud

Overview

The Engineering Technician I and Engineering Technician II positions work as part of the Engineering Department team performing advanced technical civil engineering work focused on design, plan preparation, construction administration, construction inspection, topographic survey, and construction field staking of public infrastructure improvements. Work is performed independently under the general supervision of a professional engineer or an administrative superior.

• Design and plan preparation of public infrastructure improvements.
• Construction administration and inspection.
• Topographic surveying and construction field staking.

The position is full-time and allows the opportunity to work outside in the warmer months and inside during the colder months, and to be a part of the project team for public infrastructure projects of all sizes.

The successful applicant may fill the position as either an Engineering Technician I or Engineering Technician II based on prior experience and technical certifications.
