In this senior role, you will manage critical project sub‑components such as transmission lines and oversee all aspects of high‑voltage (HV) electrical systems, ensuring seamless interconnection of power generation facilities to utility power grids. Your leadership will drive innovation, reliability, and compliance in the development of renewable energy infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Lead the execution of design, construction, and commissioning and support the development of Generator Interconnection Agreement (GIA) for the interconnection process with utilities, Independent System Operators (ISOs), and Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs).
- Review and optimize HV/MV substation, collection, transmission line, and equipment specifications (transformers, circuit breakers, switch gear, battery storage (BESS), etc.).
- Conduct or review power system studies (e.g., power flow, short‑circuit, arc‑flash, protection coordination, grounding) and ensure all designs align with applicable codes, standards and company specifications.
- Act as technical interface for the project between internal teams and external consultants, EPC contractors, equipment suppliers and vendors.
- Aid in procurement for HV equipment by developing/supporting technical bid packages, optimizing design and equipment, reviewing and approving vendor submittals, and working collaboratively with the broader project team.
- Provide expert technical support during construction and commissioning phases, including office and project site oversight & quality control, participating in acceptance tests as required and taking a leadership role in commissioning and integration.

- Directly related experience in utility‑scale power systems electrical design, integration and interconnection for a variety of North American ISOs.
- Broad experience, ideally with a site/field and office background.
- Collaborative value‑based attitude, balancing technical with cost, schedule, and full lifecycle asset considerations.
- Effective communication skills to lead meetings with internal and external partners.
