Overview

Are you ready to take ownership of your work—and your future? As the Coborn’s Inc. Senior Accountant, you won’t just manage numbers—you’ll help drive the financial strength of a multi-entity organization while sharing in the success you help create. This is a role where your voice matters, your ideas are valued, and your impact is visible every day.

In this role, you’ll support key areas like cash management, banking operations, and tax compliance while contributing to the company’s overall financial health and stability. You’ll collaborate across teams and with external partners to keep processes running smoothly and ensure accurate, timely financial operations.

As an employee owner, you’ll be empowered to look for ways to improve processes, strengthen controls, and increase efficiency. Your work will directly support decision‑making and help shape how the organization grows, making this more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to build value and share in the results.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage daily cash positioning and liquidity - monitoring balances across entities and supporting cash forecasting to ensure the business is well‑positioned to meet obligations and grow confidently.
  • Execute payments and transfers with an owner’s mindset, following internal controls and treasury policies while ensuring accuracy, proper authorization, and timely processing.
  • Monitor debt, credit facilities, and borrowing activity by maintaining schedules, tracking line-of-credit usage, and helping ensure clear visibility into obligations and available capacity to support smart financial decisions.
  • Maintain and review bank reconciliations, taking ownership of discrepancies by researching variances and ensuring cash activity is accurately recorded and aligned.
  • Support banking administration, fraud prevention, and covenant reporting by managing user access, assisting with fraud controls, and helping prepare accurate data that supports banking relationships and compliance.
  • Coordinate tax compliance activities with external advisors by maintaining deadlines, organizing documentation, and ensuring filings are completed accurately and on time across entities.
  • Assist with tax analysis, research, and documentation, supporting book-to-tax differences and gathering information to help answer technical questions with precision and accountability.
  • Support month‑end close, audits, and reconciliations by preparing balance sheet reconciliations, assisting with entries, and responding to audit requests with thorough and reliable documentation.
  • Maintain and improve treasury and tax processes and controls by documenting workflows, ensuring compliance, and proactively identifying opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen internal controls - thinking and acting like an owner in continuous improvement.
  • Support entity management, integrations, and system enhancements by maintaining entity records, assisting with acquisitions, and contributing to improvements that enhance scalability and operational efficiency across the organization.
