The Branch Manager is responsible for the administration and efficient daily operation of a full service branch office, including operations, lending, product sales, member services, security, and safety in accordance with the Credit Union’s objectives. Develop new deposit and loan business; provide a superior level of member relations and promote the sales and service culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation.
Achieve individual and branch sales goals through new business development, business sales, referrals and retention of account relationships.
Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:15am - 5:45pm and rotating Saturdays 8:45am - 1:15pm at our St. Cloud Branch location; exempt.
In addition:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field, or four years of equivalent work experience.
- Two years of experience as a Branch Manager or equivalent related team management experience.
- Retail banking experience, preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and good judgment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive personal projection as demonstrated by professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to work in a complex, competitive, and rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to analyze and resolve situations independently.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, effectively delegate, and set deadlines.
- Required to be compliant with the terms and conditions outlined in Tru Stone Financial’s SAFE Act Policy, which includes the submission of fingerprints, the successful completion of an FBI background check and maintaining current and compliant registration in Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
- Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
- Ability to pass all pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
