Speech​/Language Pathology Assistant

$26.00/hr - $32.00/hr.

• Bachelor's degree in Communications Disorders, or AAS Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology Assistant program

Implement treatment/intervention plans, record students' status, perform various clerical tasks, discuss students' treatment plans, support informal assessment of students and conduct screenings. This position works under the direction of a certified Speech Language Pathologist. Participate in educational facility activities.

• Provide direct service in articulation, stuttering and language under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Develop lesson plans for providing service.
• Prepare progress reports and day‑to‑day documentation for student service.
• Draft present levels of performance for review by SLP.
• Draft skill ideas to work on for review by SLP.
• Prep materials and make visuals for speech services provided to students.
• Assist with transitioning skills into general education.
• Assist with interventions set up by SLP.
• Schedule student sessions.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Frequent: walking, standing, bending, sitting, hearing, talking, and seeing.
