Part-Time Laundry Assistant – 16 hours/2 weeks – Just Every other Saturday and Sunday from 6am - 2:30pm
The Laundry Assistant is responsible for performing all laundry duties including sorting, laundering, and distribution of laundry. This position is also responsible for cleaning and maintaining laundry equipment so it is ready for use.

The targeted pay range for this job is $17-$19.00 per hour.

- Operates washer, dryer and any other laundry equipment per manufacturer’s instructions.
- Sorts, launders and delivers processed laundry to resident areas.
- Maintains equipment by sanitizing machines, cleaning lint traps, and any other recommended tasks to assure equipment is ready for use.
- Follows all regulatory compliance procedures.
- Reports all supply needs and equipment problems to supervisor.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
- Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to:
Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous laundry experience.
- Previous experience in a senior care environment.
