Overview

Join a thriving cardiac surgery program performing more than 500 cases annually and become an essential member of a highly skilled cardiovascular team dedicated to exceptional patient care.

• Support patients during complex cardiac procedures by managing cardiopulmonary bypass and other extracorporeal circulation technologies.
• Operate specialized equipment that temporarily supports or replaces heart and lung function.
• Monitor physiologic parameters and ensure safe and effective management of a patient’s circulatory and cardiopulmonary systems throughout surgery.

• Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks
• 7am-3:30pm | Monday-Friday
• On call every 4th weekday and every 4th weekend; rotating holidays

• Starting pay begins at $145,330 per year and increases with experience.
• Salary range: $145,330 - $222,289 per year.
• Salary and compensation are based on a 1.0 FTE; reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate.
• $15,000 in student loan repayments or $10,000 hiring bonus, plus $5,000 relocation assistance are available to those who qualify.

• Bachelor s or Master s of Perfusion degree required.
• Completion of Perfusion education accredited by AC-PE in cooperation with CAAHEP required.
• Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) required within 12 months.
• 3 years of experience as an actively practicing clinical perfusionist in a cardiothoracic surgical program is preferred.
• Must be a member in good standing of a qualified clinical perfusion society (AmSECT, AACP, or state perfusion society).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card required per policy.
