American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a 3x12 hospital-based position, and will consider first-time travelers.
Details- Works in a hospital CT department serving adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings
- Level I Trauma center experience is preferred
- CT procedures include abdomen and pelvis (with/without contrast), chest (with/without contrast), head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), vascular CTA, brain perfusion, myelography, CT arthrography, colonography, biopsies, aspirations, and drainage
- Primary imaging equipment includes Toshiba/Canon CT scanners and PACS
- Epic EMR experience is preferred
- 3x12-hour shifts per week with two scheduling options:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, or Thursday and Friday 9:00 AM–9:30 PM with Saturday overnight 6:30 PM–7:00 AM - Schedule to be confirmed with manager during interview
- Every Friday and Saturday are required working days
- No holiday or on-call requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- Active ARRT (R)(CT) and BLS certifications required
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Proficiency with starting peripheral IVs required
- Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media
- Experience with abdomen and pelvis imaging (with/without contrast)
- Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
- Trauma Level I experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- Travelers must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent employees of the facility must have been separated for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
- Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted for the duration of the assignment; no RTO is allowed during the first 2 weeks
- All RTO requests must be disclosed and approved at the time of submission
- All travelers are required to complete Minnesota Livescan fingerprinting in person within 48 hours of signing their contract; this is a Minnesota state requirement with no exceptions, and travelers are responsible for their own travel arrangements
- Travelers must complete required lab work within 48 hours of signing their contract
- Vaccine exemption documentation must be submitted if a medical or religious exemption is requested
