Qualifications & DesiredExperience:
- Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license is required
- Previous school-based experience is highly preferred
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across elementary, middle, and high school age groups
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address students unique communication needs
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services focusing on articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to support instructional strategies and student progress
- Keep thorough records of evaluations, treatment sessions, and student progress in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and share professional insights with multidisciplinary teams
