Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a school-based team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate School Psychologist to provide evaluation, consultation, and intervention services within a K–12 school setting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic achievement, behavioral development, social-emotional needs, and overall educational success.

Job Duties
  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student strengths, needs, and eligibility for special education services
  • Complete comprehensive psycho educational evaluations and evaluation reports
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs
  • Assist with the development and implementation of intervention strategies and behavioral supports
  • Support students through counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional learning strategies as appropriate
  • Collaborate with special education teams to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and complete required reports within established timelines
  • Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all students
Requirements
  • Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license or credential through the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB)
  • Completion of required supervised internship experience in school psychology
  • Knowledge of IDEA, special education evaluation procedures, and eligibility determination processes
  • Experience conducting psycho educational assessments and writing evaluation reports
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
