Location:
Rosemount, MN
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Contract Dates:
August 24 - December 22
Position Overview
A nearby Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our student support team for the upcoming fall term. In this role, you will work directly with elementary school students to support their physical, sensory, fine motor, and educational development, enabling them to fully participate and succeed in the school environment.
Key Responsibilities
IEP Management & Administrative Planning:
Utilize dedicated daily administrative time (8:00 AM - 9:00 AM, prior to student arrival) to complete Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), track progress, write reports, and collaborate with educational staff.
Direct Student Service:
Provide individual and group occupational therapy sessions designed to meet each student's functional and academic goals.
Assessments & Evaluations:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine student eligibility, establish sensory/motor goals, and update care plans.
Team
Collaboration:
Work alongside classroom teachers, special education staff, speech therapists, and parents to implement accommodations and push-in/pull-out strategies.

Hours:
40 hours per week (Full-Time)
Daily
Work Hours:
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
8:00 AM - 9:00 AM:
Designated prep, documentation, and IEP completion.
9:00 AM - 4:00 PM:
Student services, classroom support, and consultations.
Term Duration:
August 24 to December 22
Qualifications
Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Active State Board License in Occupational Therapy.
State Department of Education certification/licensure (or eligibility to obtain).
Prior experience in a school-based setting or pediatric environment preferred.
Strong written communication and organizational skills for IEP documentation and caseload management.
