Home Health COTA | One-on-One Patient Rehabilitation

Saint Paul, United States

Job Title:

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Help Patients Get Back to Their Life

Schedule:

Full-Time or Part-Time Compensation: $82,000–$110,000 per year (Paid Per Visit) + Mileage Reimbursement Recovery Isn't Just About Getting Stronger. It's About Feeling Like Yourself Again.

After a hospitalization, surgery, stroke, fall, or illness, patients often come home to a life that suddenly feels different.

Getting dressed takes longer.

Taking a shower requires help.

Simple routines they've followed for decades aren't simple anymore.

That's where Occupational Therapy becomes incredibly important.

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with Home Health Care, Inc., you'll help patients rebuild more than function.

Make Therapy Personal

One person wants to make their own coffee in the morning.

Another wants to shower without their daughter helping.

Someone else wants enough coordination to button their own shirt.

Those goals may never appear on a highlight reel.

But to the person working toward them, they can mean everything.

Working from the supervising Occupational Therapist's plan of care, you'll help patients practice the skills they need in the exact environment where they'll use them.

What You'll Do
  • Provide one-on-one Occupational Therapy treatments in patients' homes
  • Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising OT
  • Address dressing, bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and other ADLs
  • Improve upper-extremity strength, coordination, and functional use
  • Provide therapeutic activities and exercises
  • Teach adaptive and compensatory strategies
  • Educate patients and caregivers
  • Reinforce appropriate use of adaptive equipment
  • Monitor progress and communicate changes to the supervising OT
  • Collaborate with PT, nursing, SLP, physicians, and interdisciplinary clinicians
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation
Build a Career Around Work That Feels Personal

Home health gives you an opportunity to develop relationships with patients while watching their abilities change over time.

You're there for the difficult visits.

The small improvements.

The breakthroughs.

And eventually, the moments when patients realize they can do something again that they couldn't do when you first met.

You’ll also have the independence to manage a field-based workday while remaining connected to experienced Occupational Therapists and Clinical Managers.

Strong Work. Strong Earning Potential.

This position offers $82,000–$110,000 in annualized earning potential through a paid-per-visit compensation model.

You’ll also receive mileage reimbursement between patient visits.

For an organized, motivated COTA, home health offers the opportunity to combine meaningful patient care with independence and strong earning potential.
