Referral and Scheduling Coordinator

Become a part of our caring community The Referral and Scheduling Coordinator schedules and pre-registers patients for exams and procedures with specialists and providers outside of the primary care physician's office. The Referral and Scheduling Coordinator performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. The Referral and Scheduling Coordinator gathers and communicates all relative information and preparation instructions to patients and referring providers. You will work onsite at the Conviva Care Center located at 122 St Cloud Rd, San Antonio, TX 78228 and will report to the Supervisor, Medical Referrals.

• You will have 2 years of hands-on healthcare experience in a clinical setting
• You will have experience with payor portals
• You will be proficient with medical terminology
• You will have experience with Electronic Medical Records

• You will have a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration
• You will be bilingual English/Spanish
• You will have knowledge of ICD 10 and CPT coding
• You will have Referral experience

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$39,000 - $49,400 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
