Job Description
Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students as a School Psychologist in a vibrant school community near Lakeville, MN. This role offers the chance to provide essential services, covering a psychology leave from August 31, 2026, through November 26, 2026. You’ll play an integral part in helping students succeed by collaborating with educators, families, and support staff. This on-site position centers on delivering direct psycho educational assessments and interventions within a caring and collaborative environment.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Current state licensure to practice as a School Psychologist
- Appropriate educational credentials for school psychological services
- Recent experience in a school-based setting highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information professionally
- Commitment to fostering student growth and well-being
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to inform eligibility and educational planning
- Consulting with teachers, administrators, and families to develop tailored interventions and supports
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
- Offering crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed
- Maintaining timely, accurate records in accordance with school and state policies
- Supporting the transition and continuity of services during the leave coverage period
