*** Position Objective:
** The position will partner with Human Resource staff in a professional environment to build a valuable Human Resources foundation and skillset. This position supports the recruitment process by managing job postings, coordinating interview logistics, and assisting with candidate sourcing through the County’s applicant tracking system. The role ensures a smooth and compliant hiring experience while delivering responsive front-desk support and performing related administrative tasks.
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provides support throughout the recruitment lifecycle by leveraging Workday, the County’s applicant tracking system, and performing related administrative tasks to ensure an efficient and compliant hiring process.
2. Creates, updates, and posts job announcements across approved platforms to attract qualified candidates.
3. Prepares and organizes interview logistics to support an optimized hiring process.
4. Processes and tracks onboarding and offboarding tasks and forms to ensure compliance.
5. Delivers front-desk and customer support services by assisting visitors and employees in person, by phone, by email and through virtual platforms.
6. Assists with developing innovative marketing and communication strategies that engage and support the areas of recruitment and retention, wellness, and employee benefits.
7. Assists with candidate sourcing through job postings and databases.
8. Creates recruitment and onboarding related tools and resources.
9. Attends work regularly and in a timely manner. 10. Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.
** Minimum Qualifications
** In order to be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following:
* Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program majoring in Human Resources, General Business, Communications, or a related field.
** Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
** 1. Knowledge of Human Resources and marketing best practices.
2. Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
3. Ability to organize and prioritize workload in an efficient manner.
4. Ability to process information with attention to detail.
5. Ability to be adaptable and flexible.
6. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
7. Ability to work effectively on a team and independently.
