Position Summary

The Recruiter will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager and will be responsible for supporting the Mechanical and Integrated Facility Services (IFS) business units across the Enterprise.

This role will lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for a diverse portfolio of positions, including skilled trades, technical professionals, operations, project management, sales and business support functions. The Recruiter will partner closely with business leaders to understand workforce needs, develop talent acquisition strategies, and deliver high-quality talent in competitive labor markets.

This is a highly visible role requiring strong sourcing expertise, consultative partnership, and the ability to recruit for specialized and difficult-to-fill positions. Success in this role will come from building strong talent pipelines, understanding industry-specific labor markets, and serving as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with Business Leaders

Develop strong relationships with hiring managers and operational leaders to understand workforce planning needs, technical requirements, organizational structures, and hiring priorities.

Lead Full-Cycle Recruitment

Manage the recruitment process from intake through offer acceptance, including strategy development, sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate presentation, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.

Recruit for Specialized Talent

Identify and attract candidates across a variety of functions, including:

  • Skilled trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, controls, sheet metal, pipe fitting, welding, service technicians)
  • Project and construction operations
  • Maintenance Technicians
  • Sales and business development
  • Professional and administrative support functions

Build Technical Talent Pipelines

Develop proactive sourcing strategies utilizing recruitment platforms, networking, referrals, industry associations, trade schools, and other channels to create sustainable talent pipelines for both current and future hiring needs.

Assess and Present Talent

Evaluate candidates for technical competency, leadership capability, industry experience, and organizational fit. Present clear candidate recommendations and market insights to hiring leaders.

Function as a Talent Advisor

Provide guidance on talent availability, market conditions, compensation trends, candidate attraction strategies, and hiring best practices. Help leaders make informed talent decisions based on data and market intelligence.

Partner with Executive & Leadership Talent Acquisition, Frontline Recruiting, HR, and business leaders to ensure a consistent and effective hiring process across the organization.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong ability to recruit and assess talent across technical and operational roles
  • Demonstrated sourcing expertise, including passive candidate identification and engagement
  • Ability to understand technical job requirements and translate business needs into effective recruiting strategies
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously
  • High sense of urgency, accountability, and follow-through
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong business acumen and consultative approach
  • High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and professionalism
  • Passion for creating a best-in-class candidate experience
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Education and Experience
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Experience recruiting for skilled trades, technical, construction, manufacturing, facilities services, mechanical services, or related industries is highly preferred
  • Experience sourcing passive candidates in competitive labor markets
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations or field-based organizations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent searches with varying levels of complexity
  • Experience partnering directly with operational and executive leaders
